On May 5th, 2009, Brink’s celebrated its 150th anniversary, a significant milestone in our history. Without the dedication and loyalty of our customers and employees throughout the years this historic milestone would not have been achieved.
Throughout its history, Brink’s has gone through major economic and social transformations which left a significant mark on most companies. Each person and each organization have their own stories. These are stories of resilience, of successes and failures, and even survival. Brink’s is one of the companies that left a mark on history: the Brink’s brand is synonymous with secure logistics services.
When financial institutions, commercial enterprises, and government institutions search for an organization that can securely handle and deliver their valuables, they often look to Brink’s Canada. Why? Because, by strictly adhering to our corporate governance principles and to our values, we show continued commitment to: clients and employees, safety and security, ethics and integrity, reliability, trustworthiness, accountability and corporate citizenship.
In addition to our 150th anniversary, 2009 marked another important milestone for Brink's in Canada with the expansion into the province of Quebec. Brink’s considerable investment in the province reaffirms our commitment to our customers. The successful expansion was possible only through the continued support of our customers and the combined efforts of all our employees who came together as a great team completely dedicating themselves to this project.
We are now heading towards our 10th year of supporting The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Our employees continuously take the time to lead, lend a hand and support numerous MS fundraising initiatives. Supporting these events and raising the money that we do for MS would not be possible without their contribution.
One of the things which sets Brink’s apart from other organizations is our integrity. It is this integrity that has sustained Brink’s throughout the last 150 years and will continue to be at the core of our brand identity into the future.
